The data points plotted in Fig. 2 (extinction coefficients vs. wavelength) have been digitized and the extinction coefficients have been converted to absorption cross sections (conversion factor 3.8235×10-21) For the absorption maximum at 191 nm the extinction coefficient εmax = 3400 ± 200 L mole-1 cm-1 is reported, which corresponds to σmax = (1.3 ± 0.1)×10-17 cm2 molecule-1 |
